Arena Season 4 vs Season 3 - Armor : Priest

Man the models for this season of armor, are quite ugly. Certainly not up to the s2 and s3 series.

Doesent really matter as the ratings for it are so high that only the elitest of the arena's will have this available to them anyway.

So i was thinking as a priest, how much is the rogue armor and the armor ignoring components of it really going to effect us. Maybe the armor ignoring doesent even make a difference, but rogues dont really need more dmg do they?

Rogue S4 Set Armor Ignoring Total: 252 (not including weapons) So i guess that wont make that much of a difference... But really even as disc, and your getting focused by more than one melee DPS, what can you do! (PI, Pain Supression, Renew, POM, Trinket) Yeh i know there is a bit ;) Trinket is almost useless, as u hit it and go straigt into another CC.

Here is the new S4 priest set (+healing):

It looks kinda, boring. I much prefer S3.

  • Brutal Gladiator's Mooncloth Gloves
  • Brutal Gladiator's Mooncloth Hood
  • Brutal Gladiator's Mooncloth Leggings
  • Brutal Gladiator's Mooncloth Mantle
  • Brutal Gladiator's Mooncloth Robe

    Totals (No Gem's)
    Armor - 1989
    Stamina - 339
    Intellect - 151
Healing done by spells - 399
Damage done by spells - 135
    Resilience rating - 142
    Mana regeneration - 27

VS S3 (Actually Obtainable by Noobs like me :))

  • Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Gloves
  • Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Hood
  • Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Leggings
  • Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Mantle
  • Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Robe

    Totals (No Gem's)
    Armor - 1903
    Stamina - 302
    Intellect - 122
Healing done by spells - 333
Damage done by spells - 112
    Resilience rating - 142
    Mana regeneration - 23

So For your money, what are you really getting by upgrading... Raw Stat wize:

    Armor: +86
    Stam: +37
    Intel: +29
    Healing: +66
    Dmg: +23
    Resiliance: 0
    Mana Regen: +4

Not a massive upgrade for all that effort really. think i will just be sticking with S3 for a while.
